CASE STUDY — GET PLUS

Millions of orders. Multiple business rules. One frontend system.

THE PROBLEM

Returns, exchanges, package protection, order tracking and order editing — five products, two audiences (shoppers and merchants), one codebase.

THE REAL CHALLENGE

Not building pages — representing business workflows and every state they can be in, without the UI becoming unmaintainable.

MY ROLE

Owned the frontend of the shopper portal and merchant admin, architecture to release. Reviewed PRs, mentored 2 juniors.

02 — ARCHITECTURE

Under the UI

Frontend is the expertise. But features don't stop at the component boundary — I can own one end to end: the API contract with Nest.js services, Shopify webhooks, the data in MongoDB, and the pipeline that ships it to AWS.
